Our story

Started with one boat and a slip at Pier 19

Galveston Fishing Charters started the way most Galveston boats do: a captain who grew up fishing this bay and got tired of watching visitors leave without knowing where the fish actually were.

We run out of Pier 19 because it is where the water gets interesting fast. Bay flats a few minutes from the dock, jetties you can see from the parking lot, and open Gulf water within an hour for anyone who wants to go further.

Every trip is planned around the tide and the season first, the calendar second. If the bite is better at six in the morning, that is when we leave.

Capt. Mike Delgado

Coast Guard licensed for eighteen years, and a Texas All-Water Fishing Guide since the license existed. Runs the offshore and red snapper trips personally.

Capt. Elena Vasquez

Grew up fishing Galveston Bay with her father and has run bay and family trips for nine seasons. The one to book if this is your first time out.

Rigs every rod before you step aboard and cleans the last fish before you leave the dock. Ask him where the bite has been all week.
